Becoming an IPTV Reseller: How the Credit Model Works

Becoming an IPTV Reseller: How the Credit Model Works

Last updated: October 2026 · Glomax8K editorial desk · the credit model, the margins and the obligations

The short answer

A reseller buys credits in bulk, converts each credit into a subscription line from a panel, and sells those lines at their own price. The margin comes from the volume discount on credits. What you are really taking on is the customer relationship — including first-line support — so treat it as a small business, not passive income.

How credits work

A credit is the unit of account. One credit normally equals one month on one connection. Everything scales from that:

Line you create Credits it costs
1 month, 1 connection 1
3 months, 1 connection 3
12 months, 1 connection 12
12 months, 2 connections Proportionally more
A 24-hour trial line Usually free, within a fair limit

Credits do not expire, so an unused block is not wasted — but it is money sitting still, which matters when you are starting.

The margin arithmetic, honestly

Your cost per credit falls as the block size rises. Your selling price is whatever your market bears. The gap is your margin, and it is narrower than most people expect once reality is included:

  • Refunds and disputes. Some customers will want their money back. Budget for it.
  • Your time. A customer who needs twenty minutes of setup help has consumed much of the margin on a 12-month line.
  • Churn. Lines that do not renew have to be replaced with new customers, which costs either advertising or effort.
  • Free trials. A necessary cost of sale; most trials do not convert.

The resellers who do well are not the ones with the cheapest credits. They are the ones who answer their customers quickly, which is why those customers renew.

What you are taking on

This is the part worth reading twice. As a reseller, you handle:

  • First-line support — setup, device questions, “it stopped working”.
  • Your own billing and refunds.
  • Your own customer records.
  • Deciding who you sell to and on what terms.

We handle the infrastructure, the line-up, and anything that is genuinely a service fault — and we answer resellers on WhatsApp 24/7. We do not support your customers directly, because they are your customers and they do not know us.

Your lines are governed by our Terms of Service exactly as direct subscriptions are, including the rules on connection counts and redistribution. You are responsible for how your lines are used.

What the panel gives you

  • Create, extend, suspend and delete lines instantly.
  • Set the connection count per line.
  • See which lines are active, expiring or expired — the expiry list is your renewal pipeline.
  • Generate trial lines for prospects.
  • Issue M3U or Xtream Codes credentials per line.

Starting sensibly

  1. Test the service yourself first, at peak hour. Never resell something you have not run for fifteen unbroken minutes on a live fixture. Take a trial.
  2. Buy a small first block. Enough for your first handful of customers, not a year’s inventory. You are testing the business, not just the service.
  3. Start with people you can reach. Your first customers should be ones you can help in person or by message, because that is how you learn what they ask.
  4. Write down your setup instructions once. You will send them hundreds of times. Ours are in the installation guide and you are welcome to adapt them.
  5. Decide your refund rule before your first sale, not during your first dispute.
  6. Scale credits with demand, not with optimism.

The risks nobody mentions

  • Supplier risk. Your business sits on someone else’s infrastructure. Judge a supplier on stability and on whether they answer you, not on credit price.
  • Support load scales faster than revenue. Ten customers is a hobby; a hundred is a job.
  • Credit blocks are stock. Money spent on credits is money you cannot spend elsewhere until lines sell.
  • Legal responsibility is yours. You are the seller to your customers, and the rules that apply where you operate apply to you.

We would rather say all of that before you buy a block than after.

Next steps

Read the reseller programme page for how it works with us, take a trial yourself, then message us on WhatsApp with your market and the rough number of lines you expect in the first three months. We will quote credit pricing and open your panel.
